And why we aren't..
EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM
The reason we started Who Needs Normal - Home Services is that we couldn't find someone with availability to do this for one of our short-term rentals. Those that were available were big corporations that would go to the house, look around, shine a flashlight say it's outside there scope and we would need to call a professional. We realized that professionals giving a d*mn about your house already have a full book of business and all we do is give a d*amn about our houses. So we decided to take our wide set of skills and offer what we were looking for, to others. We approach your house as if it were our own.
LICENSED AND INSURED
We are insured and licensed. While we don't have a general contractors license since we don't intend to work on projects that cost more than $40,000, Emily our designer has her degree and years of experience. Mike and Scott have almost a combined two decades in home repair and construcion. Scott's career has been in logistical management and luxury property management where he has managed a number of properties across the US in notable towns such a Telluride and Missoula.
PERSONALIZED APPROACH
We realized that people have different needs and we want to accommodate whatever those needs are. When we retain you as a client we will discuss exactly what you are looking for and what is the best way to satisfy them. Do you need a lot or a little? Want to be actively involved or passively? Planning a project? What is your budget and timeline?
They say you aren't truly home until you have your local barber, bar, coffee shop, and mechanic. Well, we are adding a handyman to that list too.
